Estée Lauder Pure Color Long-Lasting Hi-Lustre Lipstick

I love this product. The shades are more frosted than I expected. I got the Candy shade, And with a lip pencil, it looks showy if that is what you want. Without it, it is not as intense and more delicate. It’s just a beautiful, vivid Mauve, in my opinion, which matches my complexion and coloring perfectly. There is another pink that’s even more intense, and that one is probably closest to fuchsia. It is Starlit Pink. There are a couple of orange-based shades and a warm frosted beige called Tigers Eye. If you are looking for a deeper shade of pink that is more subdued but rich, pick the next color from Candy.The texture is creamy and moist. It is not sticky or oily. It’s actually pretty lightweight. The lipstick does not budge. I’ve been talking and sipping my tea. Usually, the lipstick is gone by now. Finding a lipstick that stays creamy and moist yet doesn’t budge isn’t easy. Besides that, I love frosted and shimmer lipstick. They suit me.This would make an excellent gift. I just used it with three coats of Estée Lauder mascara, and without anything else, it looks great. I would try to include both unless you want to save money. In that case, your recipient will love just the lipstick alone, I am sure, because it’s that nice. You can send it directly through Amazon with a custom greeting or in person in a custom box.There isn’t a flavor with this lipstick. Usually, there is some kind of distinctive taste, but not this one. This is non-irritating and good for sensitivities. It’s exactly what I wanted, color and all. If I were to say anything about this, it would be that I expected the lipstick to be more creamy than it is, but then it wouldn’t last.Although this is pricier than some lipsticks, the longevity and the fact that it is such a glorious color make it worth it.This will be easy to remove with an average cleanser.Enjoy!.

Everything you want in a lipstick and more
I love everything about this lipstick! It is smooth, creamy and most importantly it’s long-wearing. It does not have the sticky feel of other long wearing lipsticks. I went with “starlit pink” which is a gorgeous, bright saturated pink with a hint of shine. This particular color does not give off a frosted look. Estee Lauder Hi-Lustre is a luxury lipstick and it feels every bit of that. The case is a lovely gold and is magnetic so that the top does not pop off in your bag.This is not your Gramma’s Estee Lauder lipstick. I have been disappointed in a lot of makeup manufacturers not adopting more sustainable practices. Estee Lauder is moving in that direction and I LOVE it! The lipstick is easily popped out of the tube and can be replaced with the same color if you have found the one you love OR you could replace it with another color! Every little bit helps and the refills are currently $10 less than the original product. (the third picture that I uploaded shows the lipstick out of the tube so you can see how the replacement works – it’s seamless.)11/10 product!

Heck, yeah!
Well, I love this. It’s literally one of my favorites now. It’s so easy to put on, it’s moisturizing (even in SUPER dry climates), it looks fantastic, and it’s just a very nice tube of lipstick. If you want to splurge a little bit and get something nice, go with this. The price of this lipstick is a little outside what I’d normally want to pay, but I’d be willing to make an exception for it. I like it so much that I wanted to put it on last night after brushing my teeth before I went to bed. I didn’t, of course. But I just wanted to have it on haha.I honestly don’t have any downsides for this product. 5/5 on all counts!

Luxury feel/application, vibrant and unique color (slow burn)
This review is for the “slow burn” color – which was a stunning red with orange flecks. This is definitely a warm undertone lipstick, and red without being BRIGHT RED, with the warming glow of the orange in there. It is very wearable for fall and the transition between summer and fall. The formula is smooth to apply, and is a dewy satin finish. It will transfer. I love the magnetic closure of the lipstick – it feels both luxurious and very secure in my makeup bag when travelling.
